About the Therapist

Hi! I'm Satheara (pronounced Suh-teer-a, she/her) and I am passionate about holistic wellness, self-love, and empowerment. I'm committed to helping people feel amazing-- inside and out and use my experience as a massage therapist, labor & delivery nurse, yoga teacher, and esthetician to help others on the path to their most radiant self!

I am a nurturer by nature and my favorite way to show people I care is by using my hands. Humans are social creatures and healthy touch can be very healing! I help you shift into a state of relaxation where you can let go of the outside world and take time for yourself while simultaneously treating your bodily aches and pains or skin concerns. My goal is to make sure you leave my office feeling truly cared for.

I began my career as a massage therapist at East West College of the Healing Arts and have been licensed since 2014. In addition to learning Swedish massage and deep tissue techniques, I studied Tui Na (Traditional Chinese Medicine bodywork) and Thai Massage at East West College. I went deeper studying Thai massage at Baan Jai Center for Thai Massage and the Naga Center School of Traditional Thai Massage and Medicine. All of my sessions include cupping and Gua Sha (scraping) as needed at no additional charge. Growing up in a Cambodian household, scraping ("koah kshal" - in Cambodian, which translates to scraping the wind) was common practice to help alleviate pain and sickness. Incorporating it into my massage practice has helped many people with chronic pain and tension. I am also a labor, delivery and postpartum nurse and have taken additional training for prenatal massage. I enjoy working with people throughout pregnancy and beyond.
